Quite a few of the guys here are taking theirs down on trailers/haulers.

It's good insurance, but just about have to have people sleep in the cars now for fear of them getting yoinked...

Yeah we're debating on taking my car down, or me just riding with someone else (although faster) while I'm down there.

So we'll see. I haven't booked a hotel or anything yet as I've been debating back and forth.

Same here, If mine isn't finished I hope to get my buddy to bring his Vette. Hopefully we will bring two cars regardless. My other friend plans to bring his 700hp Cobra.

Not sure what all is going. There's at least one Supra, a handfull of Cobras/Mustangs of differing varieties with copious amounts of boost and or nitrous, Vettes and I don't know if the local Underground Racing R8 will show up. That one is around the 1100whp mark, nutty is all I can say.

If you've made it out there and seen the lambos run down the highway its very very nutty .. no boost lag .. no spinning .. Just going ..

At the moment we've got a twin turbo lsx Camaro , LSX Nitrous camaro , then a few hopefuls like my datsun with a aluminum 5.3 in it .. hopefully (again) on the bottle... we'll see

If so, that thing moves out! Light weight, gobs of torque lol. I'd love to do a swap like that one day.

I haven't had a chance to see them run yet, but I know a lot of big hitters will be out there.

Yea I was there last year ... without the turbo car or the nitrous car .. Last year we only made it down with a R1 on bottle .. extended swing arm and head work with bolt ons ..

Only lost once .. to a claimed 1300hp supra .. but by far best race last year was against a 6.0 T/a with a 300 shot from a 30 roll .. Bike pulled the car with the extended swing arm at 12 oclock .. set it back down and was gone ..

hahaha man thats a 1300 hp supra ! the Datsun or Datassun isnt done yet .. Still sitting around with the stock motor but I've got my T56 , Clutch , Flywheel, and motor ... Really looking for a ECU and harness for the thing .

Well hptuners has improved their programmability for the LSX ecus.

Im working on turbocharging my 3800 firebird. It isnt easy, but Im enjoying the research I guess. Should be dead on reliable at 400whp daily, safe at 600 and room to take 1000whp.

We will just have to see how much I want to spend and how much I want my passenger to scream :)

Im doing it for fun, not to beat on them durn foreigner imports and V8s. It is a uncommon build, but I know how to get it done.

Yea I dont plan on beating any 1k cars .. I think the datsun being so light would be able to take on a car that makes a 100 more hp due to Power to weight ratios but we'll see .. I'd be happy just to get my car running and down there
